"amazing stay, beautiful cozy hotel and very freindly staff"

"We had a quick family trip (2 adults 3 kids) up to the mountains and decided to stay at forest park despite some mixed reviews. For us, it was a great trip! I suggest embracing this hotel for what it is: an ageing giant with really dedicating staff and clean rooms. We were in adjoining rooms 716 and 717. Our rooms were warm, clean and comfy. Dated a bit? Yes, but little old school details like crown moulding and vintage radios built into the bedframes are things we embrace and appreciate. The bar was, again, living in a past era but we found it a refreshing break from cookie cutter modern. Service was fantastic and prices really reasonable. Get the brandy sour and read the back story!! Our kids discovered a random little game nook on the 4th floor and played pinball etc. We had a great sleep without issue. Breakfast was hot, fresh and again served by very dedicated staff. Staff were generally a highlight here. Everyone worked as if they really care about the hotel. Overall, at €70 per room for midweek winter in Troodos, we were more than satisfied at forest park. If you stay here, take time to look at the display cases from generations past, and sit on dated lounge sofas absorbing the vibe. Notice things like the hardwood floors, crown moulding, cross stitched wall hangings etc. I think, in summay, I understand why this hotel elicits such strong opinions. If it's your thing it's REALLY gonna be your thing, and if it's not, it'll really put you off. For us, we loved this hotel"

"The whole time at Stephanie Cilla was wonderful. Everything was easy, the communication from Katerina were perfect and we had everything we needed. As we stayed in December it was colder than the summer but Katerina organised a delivery of wood (at our cost) for the log fire - which was a perfect amount for a blazing fire every night and just added to the holiday. The rooms were a wonderful size and had plenty of bedding, the bathrooms were clean and modern. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook for ourselves and the location is nicely secluded. We will be returning"

"Just GORGEOUS! We loved every second in Lofou. Our house, Pilate, was incredibly beautiful. Pay the extra for firewood and sit within honey stone walls on soft, comfortable sofas with olive wood burning in an open fire and forget the “real” world outside. A HUGE bed, well equipped bathroom and kitchen, substantial breakfast… PERFECT!"

"Lovely house and in a beautiful location. The views are stunning and there is everything you could wish for available. The owner is brilliant and was extremely informative. I would say the pool is in the shade for a large part of the day so could do with heating but apart from that it’s absolutely brilliant! "

The hotel is spacious, clean, and tastefully designed, featuring two outdoor pools, an indoor pool, and lovely gardens with apple and vine trees. The surrounding area offers breathtaking views of the mountains and village, with access to hiking routes. There is also a supermarket and restaurant conveniently located nearby. Our room was large with a spectacular view, but it felt a bit cramped and dated. Additionally, the mattress was too firm for my liking, which impacted comfort. The breakfast was fairly basic, while the dinner buffet had a variety of options, though the quality varied. That said, it was still good value for the price. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, this hotel is a solid choice for those exploring the Troodos mountain area, offering good value for money. "

"An atmospheric hotel set in a beautiful location and filled with history. Our room was wonderfully spacious, private & comfortable with a lovely balcony. The restaurant was also excellent."
