"Front of house staff on arrival not very pleasant an not very helpful Lesuire center facilities could do with a more senior staff member running the facilities Jacuzzi not workin Steam room temperature over an above what most people could bare Sauna was the complete opposite Telephone in our room wasnt working so coudnt contact repection or dining As no booklet within the room to let us kw what was on the hotel dining menu or what was happen within the locality @ 5 oclock in the evening...

"Loved the location opposite the Mayo Peace Garden and just 10 mins walk from the hustle of Castlebar. Breakfasts were great but the restaurant menu wasn't easy for me as I'm Gluten and Dairy Free. NO PROBLEM - our lovely waitress chatted with the chef and I had an absolutely delicious Thai curry. Thank you so much for your care and attention. We had a great stay X"

"Under construction so obviously there is some disarray outside and noise . The hotel accounted for that prior to us arriving, so we were aware. Great property, convenient with a great staff. "

"Staff amazing. lovely idea for prosecco reception and history talk. Spacious room with gas fire(doesn't work though). Sadly No pen in bedroom etc to fill in comment card. Large bathroom with double sinks/roll top bath and Shower. "

"Loved the dinner, views, sauna and swims from the pier. Would have been lovely to have some walks directly from the hotel, but you had to drive everywhere unfortunately. There were woods to the side of the hotel, but no real pathways through. "

"We stayed in self catering house just few yards from the hotel. The house had everything we needed, was very clean and comfortable too. We ate in hotel on first night. Food was excellent. Hotel is very well decorated and clean. Staff were helpful, especially Marian and Kylie. Didn’t use the spa nor the sauna (which you have to pay extra for). The sauna is by the small private beach. Definitely would highly recommend this place."
