This is an open floor plan with living room, kitchen with island, and dining room combined. Dining and bar seats 8 people.
The kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, pots & pans, silverware, dishes, wine and drinking glasses. Also has small appliances like can opener, coffee makers, toaster, blender, mixer, toaster oven, George Foreman grill, and Crockpot.
Fireplace has electric insert for warmth and realistic flames.

We have highest speed fiber optics internet available 500 MEG for WIFI to stream apps on TV including Live TV and football games, also 3 DVD players and large assortment of DVDs for both children and adults.

We stayed Monday-Friday and didn't want to leave! The house was equipped with everything we needed and more! The hosts were available for any questions we had and checked in on us a few times! Highly recommend and hope to be back!!

We had a great time on our 4-day getaway. Everything in the rental was done so thoughtfully. The check-in process was simple and the hosts were very attentive and helpful. If we are back down to Grand, we would definitely stay here again!

Short family getaway
This is by far the best property we have ever stayed at! They have thought of everything! You feel so at home with all of the personal touches. We rented a boat for 8 hours from H2O rentals and we had an amazing 3 nights. The owners of the property are the nicest and there are so many fun water toys and dock to fish from! Just loads of fun!

Thanksgiving with family
This property was an excellent choice for family members from Colorado and Arkansas to gather for the holiday. Since the weather was cool and windy, we didn't use the dock or boats much, but enjoyed the deck in the afternoon. The house was comfortable, with enough space for the group to visit in the living room and cook meals in the well-stocked kitchen. The owner was easy to communicate with and gave us good tips on things to do locally.

Wonderful Getaway!
We had a wonderful stay even though it rained on our last full day. The house was equipped with everything that we wanted. The grill was doing something odd, so Dave and Susan let us use their personal one which we thought was very convenient! Susan is very responsive to messages which was so appreciated! Retired siblings' vacation
My husband and I stayed with his sister and his brother. We are 60's - 70's in age. It was very nice and relaxing. We appreciated not having stairs to get to the dock. Loved our evenings on the deck enjoying nature and the water. Nice, clean home with lots of personality. Would definitely return and would recommend.

Winter Retreat
We came for New Years and did not disappoint. There were beautiful Fireworks that rang in the New Year. The next day we had a beautiful view of snow flakes dancing on the window glass and the lake. We could not have had better hosts. Very accommodating. The hosts provided everything you could think of down to the right down to the tooth picks. We would definetly stay here again.

Our adventure
The property was very much just as advertised. Everything was very well stocked, even things you wouldn't expect to find in a vacation home. The weather wasn't very cooperative, resulting in a power outage that lasted several hours. Dave made sure we kept the refrigerator going so as not to spoil all the food. Thank you so much for looking out for us this weekend. We very much enjoyed our stay and would love to stay again!

The Perfect Grand Lake Experience
WOW! This is our 3rd time to Monkey Island and so excited that Susan and Dave decided to share their little piece of heaven with others. Attention to details and 'at home comforts' were top notch. Patio, dock, and lake toys were perfect and as we are boat renters, we so appreciated the dock space for an overnight rental. Kitchen accessories/tools/staples is very well stocked. This is always a pain point for me at other rental properties as we love to cook in and just relax! Thank you for a wonderful long weekend with our 'adult' daughters - they are hard to please and asked when can we come back "HERE" as we left!

Celebration for my parent's 60th Anniversary
We had a great time. My parents loved the views of the water. My son and grandson caught some fish on the dock. The owner provided lots of lake toys including a paddle boat, board and row boat. Very nice deck overlooking the water. When too hot to be outdoors the TV had every channel needed to watch some really great movies. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. We appreciated the coffie pods, cold waters and snacks. Very relaxing and enjoyable. The host made it very easy to find the home with simple directions. Everything was as described.

BEST FALL BREAK GETAWAY!
From the moment I booked this property, Susan was in contact with me. She was so helpful. We are new to renting through VRBO and really didn't know what to expect. She made everything so easy. She was also helpful with things to do and placed to eat. The property is immaculate and is appointed with most anything a family would need for their stay. The house is beautifully decorated, and the beds are so comfy. If you have time for any movie watching, there are plenty of streaming choices in the family area as well as the bedrooms. Susan has shelves of books, DVDs and a drawer full of games and cards to keep everyone busy. The boat dock is easily accessed and so is the house. I just really can't say enough about this rental and Susan and Dave. We had a wonderful time and are planning another trip here for the summer. Thanks again Susan and Dave for having us!
