3-room apartment on the ground-floor, living-dining room, 1 double bed room, 1 room with one bed, radio, CD, TV(satellit), separate kitchen with dish-washer, fridge, oven, bathroom with bath and toilet, sitting area with grill in the garden or grill on the terace belonging to the appartment, parking, biotop. We live in the same house on the 1rst floor together with two little dogs and we also like to host dogs.You have the possibility to make pottery, you yourself or under guidance. Various types of clay and many different glazes are available. WE have a kiln, where your resulting piece can be fired and glazed here. All additional coasts are included in the price for the appartment but for the visitor's tax and the final cleaning you have to pay seperately. You can use a washing-machine for your laundry, in this case you pay 5,00 SFr for one drum.

Excursion possibilities: Nature reserve Suld Valley: Starting at the restaurant Pochtenfall you reach after 20 minutes walk the imposing 80 m high waterfall. Apart from easy or demanding walks the valley of Suld offers many possibilities for barbecues, picnics and relaxing in pure nature. With a bit of luck you can observe the chamois or the eagles. But don't miss the magnificent mountain flora as it's beauty. Niesen "the swiss pyramid": After a spectacular ride by the funicular train, the view from the top at an altitude of 2362 meters offers a splendid 360° panorama of the imposing Bernese Alps, the lakes Thun and Brienz and to the Bernese lowland. Jungfraujoch - Top of Europe: A highlight of every Swiss journey is an unforgettable day trip to the highest situated railway station of Europe and the alpine wonder world of ice and snow at 3454 meters. Lakes of Thun and Brienz: This beautiful lakes are the heart and the center of the Bernese Oberland. While you enjoy a good meal or a glass of wine on board of a ship while your eyes will rest by glancing at the lovely shores with the splendid historical castels and up to the highest mountain peaks. Beatus caves: On the east shore of the Lake Thun, just nearby the well known tourist resort Interlaken, the caves of St. Beatus extend into the interior of the mighty massif of Niederhorn mountain. According to the legend, the imposing, during millions of years created nature wonder, served as a safe hiding place for the holy Beatus in the 6th century.

Location description: Aeschi (860 m above sea level) and the somewhat higher situated Aeschiried (1000 m) lie on a sunny terrace and offer a wonderful view of the surrounding mountain panorama and of the Lake Thun. The original Peasant village is still marked of farming, folklore and tradition. If you want to escape the everyday hectic, you are just right staying with us. Aeschi offers an intact nature to refuel your batteries. Thanks to the very central situation, all the well known tourist destinations of the Bernese Oberland are very close. Aeschi is easy to reach both by public transport (train to Spiez and bus to Aeschi/Aeschiried) and by car. With 50 holiday apartments, 7 Hotels, 7 Bed&Breakfast and 7 group lodgings Aeschi offers totally 860 beds. Einfach wunderschön!
Meine Mutter und ich haben den Aufenthalt im Chalet Aebnit sehr genossen! Auch meine Hunde haben sich dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Garten ist ein Traum und lädt zum Verweilen ein. Die Wohnung war blitzblank sauber und bietet alles, was man braucht. Die Umgebung bietet vieles und der Niesen im Hintergrund ist immer wieder ein imposanter Anblick.

Erholsamer Urlaub in schöner Lage mit prima Aussicht
Nette Vermieter (viele Tipps für Ausflüge), gemütliche Wohnung (gut ausgestattet), sehr ruhig. Die Hunde störten überhaupt nicht. Eine Vielzahl von Tagesausflügen waren möglich - sowohl in die Städte (Bern u. Thun) wie auch in die einzelnen Täler (bis Gstaad). Das Berner Oberland bietet viel. Insgesamt ein gelungener und erholsamer Urlaub, der dem eigenen Freundeskreis empfohlen werden kann.
