The reason for the less than excellent rating is because I explained to the property owner/manager that we had just disembarked a cruise at 9am and my daughter had been studying in Athens since January. So, she had lots of luggage. We had 6 big suitcases with us. Would we be able to check in early or store our luggage in the unit while the cleaning crew got the unit ready. "David was a fantastic host and his villa is adorable and perfectly located for both a relaxing vacation a short stroll to all the dinning and shopping in Agia Marina. We first visited the island last year for a wedding and knew we wanted to return with our family to show them all the things we loved. "We had a delightful stay here. Everything was very clean and neat. We were greeted and checked in. We went to the beach every morning and then returned to swim in the pool. The views were amazing from this property. There were two things in the kitchen that we needed and the host responded immediately to our request and dropped them off very quickly. "I'm not giving a 5-star rating because the hot tub wasn't working and some areas of the outdoor spaces could have been neater. We enjoyed our stay here, but feel that use of the word luxury in the description is a stretch "

"This felt like lifestyles of the rich and famous for ordinary folks like us. The house is impeccable, with wide open interior spaces, gorgeous views and an amazing patio/poo area. Our hosts made it even better with a very personal check-in and great suggestions for what to do. "Wonderful home in a great location on a small, easy island. House is fantastic—clean, spacious, well-apppointed. Amazing views, beautiful pool, great kitchen. Six minute walk to Marathonas beach for swimming, restaurants, good grocery store. Adventurous, fun walk or 10 minute taxi ride to Perdika or Aegina port town.
