"May not suit everyone, but if you want a very quiet, relaxed time, this is perfect. The cabin was superb, with everything you need. No TV, and that was fine. The owners were lovely, Stan and Ienke were gentle souls who were always on hand. The satnav. did not take us directly to the camp, but it was easy to find. Beautiful cycling area. Would definitely go there again. This is a place of quiet and peace, a place to unwind. It has a wildness about it that is endearing."

"Pluspunkte: Erholsam, ruhig, gemütlich, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist schön eingerichtet, Wohnzimmer, Küche, Essbereich, Schlafzimmer, Bad, alles top. Die Lage direkt am Wasser mit Blick auf den Hafen, ist super. Umzäuntes Grundstück, perfekt für Urlaub mit Hund. Der Garten ist urig, von den Nachbarhäusern nicht einsehbar, hätte allerdings dringend mal etwas Pflege nötig. Minuspunkte: 3 TV's im Haus, doch keiner funktionierte (wurde trotz Meldung auch nicht repariert). Der...

"Travel (from the US) required by company (30 days); needed a place not too far from Leeuwarden. Location: Commuting between cities/towns (Gronigen, Leeuwarden, Marum...etc) was easy and relaxing. Nice rural settings on local roads, suburban and urban narrow roads require astute attention. Supermarkets 5-20 minutes away. Be aware, some supermarkets do not accept credit cards. "Das Haus ist sehr schön gelegen und top ausgestattet und chic eingerichtet. Leider war es sehr heiß und auch im Haus kaum auszuhalten. Holland1 sollte über die Installation einer Klimaanlage nachdenken. Leider wurde uns gegenüber auch gebaut so dass wir dann morgens von Baulärm geweckt wurden. Alles in allem hatten wir eine gute Zeit."
