"This hotel was amazing. We had originally booked a different hotel, which turned out to be completely misleading. After a stressful search for alternative accommodations, this hotel welcomed us right away and had a room ready almost immediately. While the room didn’t have a view, the location was perfect—within walking distance of everything we needed. "Good hotel overall. I did not find the stuff being too “welcoming “. Very convenient location. Almost next door to the main Zurich train station which made travel to other cities very easy. The room was small but that typical for an European hotels. One thing to be aware is that the rooms which are in the back of the hotel are facing a construction site. The start at 7 am. And some times the noises is substantial. The hidden gem of the hotel is the bar. There was always live music. "

"Altstadt hotel is in a really convenient spot in Zurich!! There is construction going on, on that street though which can be loud as cars pass by. Again very convenient though. Very nice rooms and bathroom! Has an elevator as well."

"This hotel was amazing. We had originally booked a different hotel, which turned out to be completely misleading. After a stressful search for alternative accommodations, this hotel welcomed us right away and had a room ready almost immediately. While the room didn’t have a view, the location was perfect—within walking distance of everything we needed. The free Wi-Fi, delicious breakfast, and extremely comfortable bed made our stay even better. Although it was slightly on the pricier side, the quality and service made it well worth it.
