"AVOID THIS HOTEL. First, they changed the date of our stay to six months later for no reason at all. Had to call Hotel.com to rectify it. Second, when we checked in I offered my credit card to pay the bill but was told not to worry so I assumed they had debited my card already. "Dinner was delicious and a great value for the price. Breakfast was okay - not as much of selection and fresh ingredients but you get what you pay for. The staff was friendly and attentive. But the room was not what I expected. There was a large white stain on our wooden floors and the bathroom and bathroom water stunk like sewage. "Shower was hot, you will need that after hiking to top of the Mount Nemrut. It was windy and make sure you have light or tracking poles to hike up and down the rocky way. "

"So many problems. 1st Google Maps had the location 500m away on thr opposite side of the median. 2nd they couldn't find my reservation. 3rd after they found my reservation they didn't have my reserved suite available. 4th they offered a different room that was a smoking room. No refund was offered for the downgraded room. 5th sevice in the cafe was very slow & the room was cold because people kept going outside to smoke."

"The Tugra is a great hotel with modern spacious rooms, helpful staff and a good breakfast. It is in a convenient location for the centre of town and if, like us, you are staying on Adiyaman to go to Mount Nemrut, the very helpful Veka travel company is close to the hotel. They provided us with a car and driver to take us to Nemrut and several.other sites at a very reasonable price."

A PLACE TO AVOID

"AVOID THIS HOTEL. First, they changed the date of our stay to six months later for no reason at all. Had to call Hotel.com to rectify it. Second, when we checked in I offered my credit card to pay the bill but was told not to worry so I assumed they had debited my card already. The hotel staff speak NO English so it was impossible to confirm. The next day I ordered a taxi to take us to the aiport and halfway there, the driver got a call from the hotel saying we hadnt paid the bill despite the fact we had been sitting opposite the front desk for half an hour waiting for the taxi. They wanted to charge twice the amount on the paperwork which I refused to pay this amount but offered the driver only the amount on the paperwork once we reached the aiport as it seemed they had not debited my card An obvious rip-off. And to add insult to injury the driver they sent tried to charge us €15 for a ten minute drive. After some discussion he finally accepted €10. This place is a rip-off. Avoid at all cost PS The breakfast was terrible. "
