"The house is absolutely beautiful with great amenities for all ages. Our three boys (ages 11, 13 & 15) forgot all about their electronics for the 5 days we stayed. Plenty to do with the basement game room, pedal boat, kayaks, tree swing and hours of fishing. The lake was very quiet and felt as if it was all ours. Jen (owner) was very responsive leading up to and during our stay, answering any questions we had. The family has already expressed their desire to go back again in the next year or...

"Sunrise Cottage on Lake Galway was what we hoped for, a very comfortable, stress free, fun place to stay while we visited Saratoga Springs. It was close to the city but still very much in the country. The neighbors surrounding us on Lake Galway were pleasant and friendly, as were the local restauranteurs and merchants. Sunrise cottage is definitely on the return to list"

"We had such a great week at Ava's Lakeside Cottage. The lake was so calm and clean, perfect for swimming, fishing and kayaking. My daughter enjoyed catching multiple salamanders daily also. The house was very cozy and very well kept. We definitely be returning in the future."

"The host was easy to communicate with and responded quickly. We had no issues upon arrival. The internet and utilities worked as expected. Everything was surrounded by trees and was very beautiful. You couldn't see the neighbors and the road was barely audible. The pictures were helpful but it seemed a little nicer than they suggest. The neighbors didn't bother us at all and we had a great stay. It's right in the middle of so many natural attractions. The hiking was great, the night time fires...

"Amazing cottage, lots of room, big open spaces, excellent kitchen and dining area, 2 fireplaces outside, outdoor patio with furniture. Fans in most rooms, huge beds, nice bedding, extra bedding and pillows, rooms were decorated well with a cottage theme. Full bedroom downstairs with king bed, downstairs also has a game room, sitting room, and washer and dryer. There is no TV on the 1st or 3rd floor, only on the 2nd floor, with a fire TV app. The property is large and quiet, we saw lots of deer...

"The property was just as described. We enjoyed the firepit at night and the back porch for morning coffee. The location is easy walk to the little downtown shops and eateries. We also enjoyed a great meal at Basil and Wicks, too! "
