"This was my first hiking trip in the Adirondacks and this little house was just perfect for my visit. All the comforts of home from the welcoming living room to the nicely stocked kitchen to the beautiful outdoor setting. Very quiet neighborhood in the woods but easy to get to the places I wanted to explore. About a 20 minute drive to Lake Placid. Enjoyed the gas fireplace! Can’t wait to come back next fall because there is so much to do in this area! "

"Went up to old forge for a snowmobile trip, couldn’t ask for a better place to stay. The host was very easy to communicate and very responsive. The home was extremely clean and smelled great when we walked in. Everything is within walking distance from the property. Couldn’t ask for much more. "Place was cozy & amazing. I love staying at the place. Planning to visit in next year will definitely try to book this place again. Good price & location. Its about 20 min away whiteface mountain around 30 min from Hog George Fall and about 45 to 50 min lake placid. One thing I feel that should be there is a fan on loft area for flow of air. There is bug ceiling fan in living room but not that much helpful. Otherwise everything is perfect."

"This was out first time at this amazing property. Scenic views of the lake from the comfortable couches on the deck. There was a lot to do, kayaks and paddle boat supplied. You can easily walk into the lake and swim to the float. The house itself was wonderful. The bed was very comfortable as was the couch. Everything was very clean with modern appliances and decor was very inviting. We will definitely be returning to this haven on the lake!"

"Excellent visit... It snowed the day before we arrived so it was just beautiful. House was great, nice having so many master rooms with bathrooms to suit multiple parts of the family.
