"Fantastic large top floor bedroom-no good for guests with mobility issues as 49 steps to the room! Lovely and spacious with free standing bath and separate shower. Cosy balcony with table and chairs. Breakfast was first class although menu a bit confusing ie-were you allowed cereal as well as or instead of a cooked breakfast. "We loved our stay at the White Lion. Rooms were lovely- a view of the river i would recommend. Food was lovely- breakfast and evening meal. The staff were lovely. Hebden Bridge was at its best, in the sunshine on the day we visited. Lots to do on the door step of the hotel, all within easy strolling distance. "A fabulous little gem. The bar man even fixed my broken heel! Now that's going above and beyond. The lovely ladies even made My dog his own sausage for breakfast. Beds were comfy. My only issue would be it's a little bit cold in places but it's a old building whose owners (not staff) need to give it a bit of TLC "
