Cottage In The Woods, Lots Of Wildlife, Gated, And Paved, And Very Private,

Once here, you won't want to leave. Upon entering the cottage you have a great room with a fireplace and a great view in both directions. The Kitchen has a Jennaire range, a side by side stainless refrigerator, granite, and a large pantry.. The sun porch has a table that seats 10 plus a daybed. To the left of the great room is the master suite with king bed, tv, walk-in closet, large bath with shower and large jacuzzi tub with view of the woods. To the right of the great room is a full bath and 2 bedrooms. One has a king bed and the other a queen. and one has cable tv. I just added a 65” Smart TV. . House has WiFi . There is a walking trail through the 75 acres with a fish pond. Sit around the wooden fire pit at night.

Great Getaway
This is a great out-of-the-way location to spend some family time. The cottage is beautifully decorated and comfortable - a home-away-from home. The kitchen is fully stocked. Beautiful setting and great location! Close to Hahira and Valdosta. We especially enjoyed the Christmas decorations! This was our first VRBO experience and I highly recommend it!

My family and I have stayed at this property multiple times. We were pleasantly surprised the first time we stayed here, more beautiful than the pictures suggest! We have truly enjoyed ourselves on each stay. The home is spacious and very comfortable! We particularly love exploring the property and enjoying the quiet surroundings. We have even seen deer! The kitchen is stocked with all necessary small appliances and utensils. Washing machine and dryer worked great! We definitely recommend this property if you are looking for a great place to relax and unwind! We can’t wait to go back!

Gail was wonderful to work with! Words can not explain how much we all enjoyed staying here. The cottage in the woods was a great retreat for our family. Spacious and comfortable. We were able to enjoy the outdoor firepit, the large dining area (eating, games, and socializing), front porch with a fan and rocking chairs and great southern hospitality. Location was great for our son to join us from Moody AFB. Made great memories to last a lifetime. I recommend the cottage in the woods for anyone staying in the area. Thank you Gail.

Our dream ranch house!!
We stayed here with our 4 kids (under 4) for 2 nights and had the BEST time. It is on such a beautiful lot and the house is charming, cozy and very well decorated. Kids found bugs, frogs, lizards, pretty flowers. We made s’mores at the campfire and drove around the trails and just felt completely at home. It feels very much secluded yet only 10 Minutes to piggly wiggly. Kitchen is well equipped, my husband liked the stove. Beds were comfy and VERY spacious master bathroom. Would definitely stay here again- owner very responsive and accommodating!! Thanks so much

Getaway for Graduation
This property was absolutely phenomenal. A great, quiet place tucked away in the woods with all the amenities we needed to make this short stay memorable. My family and I stayed for two days for my graduation and we loved it. we were able to enjoy the peace and quiet and the scenery of nature. we even made smores for the first time as a family and boy do we have memories to cherish from that! The owner was very responsive when I reached out to her about the internet. The master bedroom was an oasis and I wish we had more time to enjoy a bath in the shower. We definitely enjoyed being able to watch tv in the bathroom :) Overall this property exceeded my expectations and if I am ever in the Valdosta/Adel are, I will definitely be staying here again!

The house is very nice, quiet and peaceful
Sofas and lounge chair need to be replaced. Fireplace needs screen for child safety. There was plenty of bath towels but limited kitchen towels. Lots of coffee cups but no drinking glasses. For unfamiliar out of state guests, fire ant nests (though not many), should be addressed and destroyed. Overall it was nice but at its premium price we expected nicer furnishings.

Total Hidden Gem!
I can't say enough good things about this property and the owner. The description just doesn't do it justice. The lot the home is on is simply beautiful. After you enter the gate code from the highway, you drive down a long tree covered driveway to the most inviting porch ever. Off the one side, you see a big pond. The interior of the home is just perfect. Everything is in great condition and everything we needed was there. The beds were insanely comfortable, the family room was laid out perfectly, the kitchen was well stocked to cook for an army. We were in town for two weeks with a large diverse group of people who were staying at all sorts of properties in a 60 mile radius from Moultrie and everyone agreed, without doubt, that "our" house was, by far the nicest rental around. Considering that our group took up 10,000 hotel nights in that two week period, you can see what a big compliment this is. Any issues we had were dealt with within minutes. We always rent homes on vacation. Most are more than twice the cost of this one and my whole family agrees that this is the nicest one we have ever stayed at. I can't say enough good things about this property and the owner.

Get away in the woods
We were in town for the Maultrie Swap meet and this beautiful home offered a short trip to the the swap meet. The owner ( upon my asking ) even had put up the Christmas decorations for us & so it was very festive as well. Owner went above and beyond!!!

Beauty and the Beast
When we walked into the house we thought the house was just awesome. Rooms were spacious, no bugs, plenty of hot water, the glassed-in dining room a plus, washer & dryer was appreciated, but upon closer inspection we saw where housekeeping could have done a better job of getting things cleaned. The cons: kitchen & bathrooms are the biggest complaints. For starters the Keurig coffe maker had to be cleaned before we could use it, the drip tray had mold in it where it looked like it wasn’t cleaned in a while, the mini-blinds above the kithen sink had stuff on it that should have been cleaned, the kitchen cabinets were dirty, food stains & drips not wiped down. Both bathroom floors around the toilets had to be cleaned of accumulated dust & dirt, washer & dryer dirty from age, door knobs on all cabinets were loose, and lastly description of property lists ‘No Pets” allowed, however, pet hairs had to be swept from floors in the smaller bedroom & a pet bed was in the closet! We have pet allergies. I was hoping to write a better review but couldn’t because of the housecleanig issues. Note: in the bedroom that was to the left of the fireplace, there were floor nails sticking out which could cause someone injury to one’s feet.
