Not the property we booked!
Texts regarding check in went unanswered so we phoned the same number and got a reply. Met Abraham at the complex and he took us to the property. It was not the property we booked! Apparently the property we had booked was unavailable due to "humidity in the walls". Damp? This doesn't happen overnight. Why were we not told about this at the time so that we could have made alternative arrangements? Presumably because they didn't want to lose the booking. The property we were given had NO air con. No ceiling fans only two portable fans. No large fully furnished balcony, only a small balcony with only one sunbed, a small table with four chairs. The shutters were worn and buckled so could not be fully opened or closed. The described 160cm wide bed in the master bedroom, was 140cm. The room was so narrow, it was difficult to avoid bumping into the wall mounted TV. There were two windowless bedrooms downstairs. With no fans! The kitchen was tiny. Kitchen utensil were not clean - bits of food still stuck to the fish slice! The floors were not clean. There was a cobweb in the lounge with multiple dead flies stuck in it. Abraham spoke to the office but no no other accommodation was available. We were offered 120 euros to compensate and told that the owner would come on Friday with the cash. He was a no show on Friday but came on Monday. There is absolutely no way we would have booked this apartment. Many of the sunbeds by the heated pool need replacing. A car is essential. Beware!
