This house, although dates are not clearly known, is approximately 100+ years old built by Manliff Dean who was an educated professional. The name "Bankers Row" comes from local history that the stately houses that were originally built on this street were the homes of wealthy professionals that had businesses in the town of Somerfield, which was evacuated and flooded in 1946 as part of the construction of the Youghiogheny Dam. This Main Street house has been home to many families over the years, many of which still live in the immediate area.
Bankers Row boasts 12+ rooms including 4 bedrooms and other rooms that have been converted to spaces such as a coffee room, video game room, and one hidden room for you to discover. The original woodwork, pocket doors, and built-ins are among the most appreciated features.
There is one first floor bedroom (queen), 1 bath, and gaming room that are tucked away separately from the kitchen, formal dining room, and "poker room" with a gas fireplace.
The second floor has 3 bedrooms (queen, queen, 1 bunk bed + rollaway bed), 1 full bath, coffee lounge, living room/hallway, and other special features.
The gaming room, upstairs living room, and coffee room each have couches, futons and air mattress for guests beyond the 8 that beds will accommodate.
