"The property was amazing and great value for money. It is on the edge of the Sassi and you only have to go a few metres to see the most spectacular views. The facilities were modern and clean and the staff/owner were very friendly, helpful and hospitable. There is also a bus stop very close in proximity which makes it easy to reach the main coach stops in the main town if you don’t fancy the scenic walk Would definitely recommend "

Located within 10km of Matera but in a quiet rural setting. The staff. Anna who served breakfast & checkout was excellent. The rest of the staff are either poorly managed and demoralised or should not be in a hospitality role. Checkin person was rude and didn’t make you feel welcome. Couldn’t really be bothered. "Hotel a bit old fashioned, but clean. Matras a bit hard. Good for people how likes hard matras. staff was nice and very helpfully. Breakfast a litlle bit scanty. Fresh but alot of sweet food ,but good coffee. You need to rent a car because there aren’t any taxis. Shuttlebus from the hotel was very good arranged."
