"The hotel is gorgeous - Euro chic in a historic building - charming, spotlessly clean and comfortable. Aside from very minor issues related to style trumping function, the only issue to be aware of is a somewhat lower privacy of the bathroom compared to expectations of most North Americans. "Set in a quiet rural location surrounded by olive groves and trullis, the villa is ideally located for sightseeing. There is a very nice pool area and tennis courts . We stayed in a chalet in the grounds. There was plenty of space but the shower cabinet was very cramped and awkward. Galatina, a fifteen minute drive away, is an interesting town with beautiful buildings and we had a really good meal in Gallatone, another easily accessible town."

"We had a 3 night stay. After the 1st night they asked us to leave because they double booked the room and the other reservation had 5 night stay. Very unpleasant and inconvenient trying to book and packing stuff to leave. Anyways the first night was not great. A/C was not working properly and a loud sound kept me up at night from the door.
