"The hotel and rooms are very nice, however they are not sound proofed as described. There is a bar on the roof that blasts music that rattles the whole structure especially the elevator shaft. I didn’t expect this at all, and when they finally shut off the music just before 11 everyone spilled into the street and since rooms are not sound proofed I ended up switching rooms to an inner room at around 11:30. Pretty annoying. Nothing against people having a good time on a Friday night, but my goal...

"The property was a bit dated, but elegant and spacious. The location is wonderful, couldn't be better. The wifi is very slow and needs updating. That was a problem. Also, the mattress was extremely hard. Felt like sleeping on a rock. A good pillow top cover for the existing mattress might help."

Breakfast was disappointing though, as they charge extra for typical continental breakfast items like meat, cheese and eggs. As a result the breakfast including in the room was just a few pastries and cereal, all very sweet. This is not the typical experience of a Relais au Chateaux 5 star hotel! "

"This is a charming small hotel with a pleasant staff. Rooms were recently remodeled and are always spotlessly clean. The morning breakfast is quite nice. Note that the front desk closes at 5 so you often need to let yourself in with a code. I highly recommend"
