"My son (20) and I spent a lovely week at the apartment. The facilities are exactly as described and on the ground floor of a gated community. It also has private access to the beach which is perfectly setup for a full days relaxing in beautiful surroundings. The area itself has good access to buses if like us you don’t get a car. "The location was lovely, beautiful grounds, pool and sea access. The apartment did lack a few basics. There were 3 odd mugs, no bowls, no wine glasses only an odd selection of different glasses. There was no sharp knife or chopping board. We purchased glasses, bowls and knife. Towels were supposed to be changed after 4 days but weren’t."

Major issues with swimming pool (out of action for 5 of our 14 days), with water pressure (20 mins for shower to warm up and then only a dribble), extremely loud and frequently barking dog. Although located in a side street it is adjacent to a major road - plenty of traffic noise during the day. Location convenient for Etna and the sites on the east side of the island."
