"Smelled like somone was smoking inside just before we got there. Blankets had obvious stains on them. Double bed was 2 nylon covered mattresses pushed together. Made for a very uncomfortable night. "

"The owner of this property must use google translator as most of the messages he sent me made no sense. This then made it difficult to understand the check in process. Thank goodness the kind lady at the registration office clarified things for me. I understood that towels/tea towels would be included with the linens, but there was an extra fee for these items. Just a note for mobility challenged guests, the stairs are very steep and narrow."

"I stayed here for 6 nights with my wife and we really enjoyed it. The town is very quiet but it's a short drive to cities like Leeuwarden and Harlingen for activities. There is a grocery store in the next town over so it's a quick drive or bike ride if you need to pick up anything. Two bicycles are provided for use so I would hop on after dinner and explore the beautiful countryside. The property is spacious for two adults and very clean and comfortable. "The property is located right by a channel leading to the IJsselmeer, but sheltered enough to allow children to play by the water. The holiday resort in which it is located offers rental boats, a billard table, tennis courts, crazy golf, a play park, wind surfing, kite surfing and fresh bakery products in the morning. The beach is a leisurely 20 minute walk away, but you can use the bicycles provided and get there in 5. The house is perfect; spotlessly clean, lots of space and every commodity...
