Space of Hope (Bridge of Hope)

Hallway toward the chimney to bring visitors to the Bridge of Hope (the space of hope). Called a bridge of hope because through this bridge visitors can see the 54 flags of the 54 countries who helped Aceh after the tsunami, the same number of flags premises number of stones arranged in the edge of the pond. In each flag and a stone inscribed with the word 'Peace' with the language of each country as a reflection of war and peace in Aceh before the tsunami conflict. With the earthquake and tsunami, the world saw firsthand the situation in Aceh, the Aceh peace support and help, as well as contributing to the building (reconstructed) of Aceh after the disaster occurred.

"location was amazing and isolated. not many restaurants around. food choices were limited. customer service was excellent. downside: insects were in the room, bed like ants, mosquitoes. it required to be sanitized before going to sleep. "

"Kamers zijn vies. Stinken naar urine.Met kakkerlakken en ander ongedierte. Personeel is intimiderend en wil alles van je weten zodra je je kamer af komt. ' waar ga je heen, wat ga je doen, waarom ga je dat doen enz' , maakt misbruik van het feit dat je nergens heen kan ( je zit ver van de bewoonde wereld, geen internet, heel slechte wegen) heel vervelende sfeer. Wij zijn ipv 4 dagen, na 1 dag heel snel vertrokken.(met dank aan een lokal die vlakbij woonde waar wij gebruik mochten maken van de...

"We were staying in a small bungalow near the waterfront. The family is very friendly and helpful for organising trips etc. Our bungalow was simple and very clean. The springs in the mattrass were quite hard and had probably it best time. Food was plenty and good. Close to Dylan’s . 10 min by motorbike"

"We stayed here 13 yrs ago for our honeymoon, Freddie was still coking and it was only 12 rooms. It has kept its charm, some aspects are a victim of his success, more people, busier in the restaurant. But will stay again"

"Great location, excellent service and the room is a good size, comfortable & very clean. Unusually for a hotel room, the shower & toilet were separate which I liked. Easy walk to the mosque, museum & shopping. Good restaurants nearby, particularly enjoyed the coffee at Tower Coffee. Staff were friendly & helpful, overall I thought it was great value, especially with the buffet breakfast."
