The breakfast is self service with everything laid on for you and is of a high quality. The spa facilities are good, the pool has powerful jets that massage well and the staff are welcoming. "Beautiful historic building right in the heart of the old town. The attentive and knowledgeable staff was ready to help me with all the information I needed - their suggestions were spot on. The room, although a little outdated, had all the modern needs to make them functional. Bathroom pristine clean. I look forward to be back."

"A very nice position in the old town of Coria. The staff were all very friendly and it was a pleasure to stay at this establishment. Coria is a very nice place and strolling round the old town was very pleasant. It was nice to sit outside the hotel breakfast room and take a glass of wine, looking over the valley."

"Property is a lovely old Convent modified to a Hotel. At the time we were there they were having work done in the main lobby area. Restaurant was good except did not have on hand an English menu for those who dont speak Spanish, French or Portuguese...Front desk helped out here by printing one off. Hotel and Restaurant staff excellent."

"Maria was exceptional. She was helpful and upgraded our room. Parking worked out well and lots of places close by to get food. Walk around the property was pleasant and we felt safe."

"Out of town, remote n a side lane. Very difficult to locate, badly signposted from town. Car park detached on adjacent open field, totally open to public and therefore insecure. Spacious room. Individual meal prices exorbitant. Swimming pools closed for season, but we had not been informed of this when booking. "

"Estuvimos muy agusto, el sitio es precioso y el personal muy atento, nos trataron fenomenal, pendientes en todo momento de las necesidades de los clientes. La comida excelente, todo un acierto cenar allí. El único pero que puedo poner es la luz de emergencia de la habitación que ilumina mucho y tuve que tapar y el colchón, excesivamente duro. Gracias por una estancia maravillosa."

"We have had a wonderful week in Finca Vergel, Gata. The hosts, Rosa and Sebastian were warm and welcoming, the rooms were very comfortable with great attention to detail. The beautifully tended garden is filled with olive and a variety fruit trees, and to be able to wander down to the river was an added bonus.
