"This is a wonderful place to stay at. Just keep in mind that they are located far from Arzua. If you contact them, they might be able to arrange your taxi transportation. We stayed at this place while walking El Camino de Santiago. It was an awesome break after walking from Palas de Rei to Arzua, which was a long walk, so we didn’t have the power to keep walking until getting the this property. "It is only really accessible if you have your own transport,because it is off the main road,down a country lane and a fair distance from Santiago de Compostela ,but my satnav got me there,no problem and I was given good advice as to how get to SdC and find parking. It is a lovely country house/converted farm in huge gardens.The room was very good and breakfast was included in the price,which was cheap considering the quality of the place. "

"This was the cutest farmhouse! We had a wonderful dinner and the woman and man who seemed to run the restaurant where lovely! I hit my head on a doorway, and they gave me ice and continued checking on me through the evening! Such very very nice people with wonderful food in a beautiful setting "

"The view is breathtaking, the pool large and the house huge - in summer, the three (!) sitting rooms are not really necessary. But the outside area, with the large roofed (and thus shady) terrace was great."

"Fantastic hotel! The operator George is amazing. He speaks great English and was incredibly accommodating. We arrived very early and he was able to get our room ready as quickly as possible. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The location of the hotel is right in the centre and on the Camino trail. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Caldas de Reis. "
