We enjoyed our overnight trip. There was plenty of wood for the firepit and the rooms were as advertised. Was actually bigger than I thought it would be. Host was very nice. We loved the chickens and the outdoor area.

Beautiful Private Retreat Close to Deep Creek
Wonderful property and delightful hosts. The property is beautiful and has a pond with a paddle boat and kayaks on it. The Boardroom is a nice place to stay, even with 6 of us. A lot of ping pong was played and memories made. Exactly what we were looking for. Close to Deep Creek (~10-15 minutes). So you can go out for some adventures without much trouble.

A Must Stay for Peace and Relaxation

A place of peace!
It was my wife's birthday and we really enjoyed our time. There very quiet and peaceful. The place was very clean and we had everything that we needed. Enjoy the outside walk to the pond plenty of space just to enjoy mother nature I would recommend. If you take out time and come here and enjoy yourself like we did

Cozy, quaint and tasteful
Our family stayed at this property during a ski weekend at nearby Wisp. We weren't quite sure what to expect, but as soon as we opened the door we felt right at home. Our teenage kids loved it. The main area is perfect for gathering, playing games, reading, or eating together. The ping pong table was also a hit. The hosts were extremely gracious, and we appreciated the fresh homemade bread and jam they left for us. We plan on coming back again - it's the perfect place to stay when visiting Deep Creek in winter or summer.

Perfect Place
Thank you VRBO- our brief stay was perfect. All the hotels were booked solid for the graduation day at WVU-- so I looked into a place to stay -- We were 57 minutes away from WVU and the graduation was at 9am...Instead of waking up and leaving at 2:30 in the morning, we were able to stay the night and just wake up early to make to the graduation on time. Our place was perfect -- a little something for everyone! Our teens loved the ping pong table. I loved the decor! My husband enjoyed checking out Deep Creek and Wisp-- It was a Perfect place!

Not My Expectations
If I had done more homework, I would have known this property was not of me or my families expectations. The family lives their, and property is shared with others. Near chicken coop, and grave yard near by. I'm from the city, so this was not the environment I expected. The area of stay was clean, but too secluded for me and my family. We did not stay there and no refund was offered. The owners didn't even offer to provide 1/2 of refund. Not my cup of tea.

Greaty stay! Quietly nestled off the beaten path
We loved the Board Room. Very responsive hosts. So much room. Super clean and completely stocked: kitchen had all the tools for a full meal and an easy breakfast + seating for 12 for meals, Ping pong (great fun!) assorted board games and large TV. We visited in Fall but would love to see Spring and Winter as well. Bed was so great we over slept the alarm!

The Board Room was nicely decorated. It had plenty of seating (2 couches, daybed, dining table, game table and a few comfy chairs). The large property was amazing. We enjoyed having a bonfire and watching a couple deer grazing. There was a large pond within walking distance

As advertised, but even more spacious than pictured. Had everything we needed, and we were very comfortable. The grounds and woods were magical. The hosts were very communicative and helpful, and they were super accommodating and gracious when I made an error and arrived a day early!! Definitely recommended

Girls weekend
This is a very cute place that is close enough to Deep Creek yet far enough from all the chaos. It was very clean and decorated nicely. The owner allowed us to pick fresh vegetables from his garden which was very sweet. I would recommend this place if you are coming to deep creek and like the wooded area.

What a welcoming, home away from home!!!
My friends and I stayed here for a trip and the owners, Ken and Cheryl, went above and beyond our expectations in making us comfortable and providing a welcoming environment. Their rental was so homey, comfortable, and very well decorated with a very spacious layout that comfortably fit our party. We enjoyed the board games and game room included as well. We will certainly consider the Board Room when staying in Maryland!!! There was also an issue on VRBO’s end and Ken was so understanding and patient through the whole situation. Ken and Cheryl- you are both saints and it was a blessing to feel so safe and comfortable on a trip.we cannot thank you enough!!! :)
