"We had a very pleasant and enjoyable stay at this hotel. Staff were helpful and spoke English. The pool was an added bonus and the location was perfect for us to attend a concert at Alba Fucens' amphitheatre! The only slight negative was that the water pressure in the shower was not stable so it was fine one minute then it surged and was too hot. The only reason I gave it a 4* for the property facilities. Otherwise we wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to friends."

"The property is located in a green and quiet spot at the foot of Gran Sasso and is a perfect location for planning walking and hiking activities in the Apennines. Popular and unmissable wakings are to the Rocca di Calascio and to the peak of Gran Sasso. From the Locanda the beautiful village of Santo Stefano is within walking distance and Calascio and Castel del Monte pretty villages are within short drive by car. Food at the Locanda restaurant is great, homemade pasta is highly recommended."

"Non capisco perché ci siano così poche recensioni su questo hotel, staff cordiale, posizione perfetta per chi vuole esplorare l’Abruzzo, letto comodissimo e camera pulita, unica pecca l’insonorizzazione delle camere non al top e (a mio avviso visto che lo faccio di lavoro) impianto di climatizzazione da ammodernare "
