"We stayed with two couples for 14 days at this lovely house. Olga and Paulo were fabulous hosts and gave us countless of wonderful tips on what to do and where to eat. Communication was flawless. Check in was easy and Paulo greeted us with a bottle of wine and fresh pastry specific to the region. The house was extremely clean and had everything we needed. AC in the two master bedrooms, the LR, and the DR was appreciated. As a pleasant surprise we had a house cleaning and fresh bed sheets after one week. The garden is beautiful and outdoor furniture invite to lounge and hang out. The house is located on a small road, however the amount of traffic surprised us. Lidl in Amarante (10 min drive) was convenient and we fell in love with this beautiful town. This is a wonderful place to stay if you want to explore the Douro Valley and Porto region.
