Welcome to our Vacation Home. The house offers a huge yard with fire pit and creek located at 26486 Denton Valley Rd. Abingdon, VA very close to the Creeper Trail and South Holston Lake. The house is only 15 minutes from Abingdon, home of the most famous stage in Virginia - Barter Theatre.

This area is an outdoor lover's dream come true!

Damascus is also just 12 minutes away and you are not a far drive from Mount Rogers State Park and White Top Mountain. Businesses in Damascus offer shuttle rides to the top of the mountain so that you can ride the Creeper Trail down and enjoy the scenery.

Best place to stay!
If your looking for peace and quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, this is the place for you, clean, beds are comfortable, sit out by the campfire, we had a great time. Will definitely try to reserve for next year if we decide to go to Bristol Speedway

Great location for Creeper Trail walks from Alvarado Station. Easy car ride to grocery, shops, and restaurants in Damascus and Abingdon. Very comfortable accommodations.

We had a great weekend connecting w family. Older style home was immaculate. Comfy beds and living room furniture. Lots of towels and convenience items. We enjoyed dining outside on the back deck.

We had a great stay here. The house location is awesome and owners were supernice. Kids friendly place with lots of activities around. Our days were filled with Virginia Creeper trail, Picnic Spots,Smores, Grilling and fireworks in Damascus.

The house was perfect for our weekend ride on the Va Creeper trail! Situated between Abingdon and Damascus so it was easy to get to both places in the evening. Plenty of comfortable beds and places to sit and talk!

Perfect place to stay for a vacation in Abingdon, VA
Everything at Alvarado was just what we wanted. Privacy, deer, great weather, and a pool table for those times you are waiting for others to get ready or maybe it's not your night to cook. It was wonderful and the host, Marcella, was very accommodating and great to work with!

This has to be the Cleanest, most comfortable place to stay
We had 3 of our grands for the weekend and needed a place close to the Abingdon Vineyard. This is a true gem, nothing fancy but great beds, well equipped kitchen and a nice yard the kids played in. Our daughters family came for breakfast and we cooked pancakes in the pancake pan and everyone loved them! We highly recommend this accommodation!
