"I had a delightful stay at Friars Wynd. Check-in is not open (or an option) until noon as reception is the bar. I was hoping to check my bag early but wonderfully the cleaning staff had been through and my room was ready for an early check in. There are no room numbers, just names. I stayed in Ness which overlooked the road out front. The room was nice with a super soft bed and an iron burn in the carpet floor. This reminded me of my past ironing snafus. "The hotel is in a beautiful venue. Staff at check in seemed unsure. The room we were in was decent but all night there was banging noise either from a loose shutter or possibly from the gym. "
