"Great access to nearby bus route which was ideal for tourism. The bed was clean and comfortable. The breakfast had all the basics and was very nice. We were greeted via doorbell in a friendly way and given a code for our room upon arrival via text message. The TV in the room was very small and there were some big stains on the walls, some quite high up, and repeated incidence of drain fly in the bathroom, and the showerhead could use a clean so I think the bathroom and bedroom walls could be...

"The rooms and decor were all simpathetically refurbished in Georgian style. The beds were extremely comfortable and clean. The en-suite I stayed in had a large bath & double shower, the owners were delightful, knowledgeable about things to do around the area. The breakfast was great, various things to eat, they catered for my niece who is celiac, she was delighted to finally stay somewhere and be made to feel part of the company, not an added extra on a special diet! "Overnight stay in July 2020. Excellent location, perfect property for myself and my partner as we looked to explore a little bit of Edinburgh. Lovely hostess, GREAT breakfast. Arty, bohemian, chic and just a quaint and quirky little flat which was perfect for us. Will return definitely!! Ps the Poltergeist may in fact just be true as it would appear the artwork had all been skewed slightly in the morning! Lol. Great experience all round!"
