"We wanted somewhere quiet, secluded and far away from reality, this hit the spot perfectly! We weren't far from Llanberis where we had some great food and went on a beautiful walk to the castle. The cottage was well equipped and gave us the chance to feel properly nestled in the mountain. We used our time their to celebrate my partners birthday, and begin art projects we've been preparing for. We met a couple of others in Fachwen and they were so lovely and helpful! The bedrooms are very comfortable. The living room is relaxing and the kitchen has everything you need. You’re walking distance to pubs, restaurants and coffee shops as well as several hiking trails. "Wonderful location. The cottage was warm and cosy and had everything we needed apart from a tin opener. Some of the baking trays were well worn. The beds were extremely comfortable. Parking was an issue and on arrival in the village a very rude woman told us there was only parking for their guests and nowhere for anyone else. "

"The property was lovely, just a few issues with phone numbers which are not available and the rubbish, if there was a sheet with bin empty info and proper coloured bin and boxes then people could put the bins out , the rubbish was mounting up from previous guests. Some of the places to visit need updating assome no longer open as a cafe. There is no visitor book to sign when leaving as it says in the leaflets, but other than these problems we had a great time"
