"I’d give Melin Tregyb 5* for cleanliness and the room was large and airy with a very comfortable double bed. The owners were very quick to respond to emails but it would be comforting for me, as a solo traveller, to have an hour per day when the owners could be guaranteed to be in the building. "

Bryncoch
3.5 star property
9.2 out of 10, Wonderful, (34)
"Interesting. Very large room and large en-suite. Very comfortable kingsize bed plus room had TV, settee and tea/coffee making stuff. Hosts were relaxed and forthcoming with information and conversation. Take a pair of indoor slippers because the location is the countryside and quite rightly outdoor footwear should be taken off indoors. Location was ideal for our needs - visiting relatives and friends within a 20min drive. Off the main road, reached by a farm track. Don't be put off. ...

Our room was spacious and comfortable and beautifully decorated. A fridge with fresh milk and an incredibly generous Biscuit jar (apologies for over indulging! 😂) was certainly a bonus. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful which we really enjoyed. We would highly recommend this lovely place and we hope to return. Graham and Kay."

Glangwili Mansion
5.0 star property

"Glangwili Mansion is a beautiful upmarket B&B, quite as good as all the previous reviews have rated it. The owners, George and Linda (and their friendly dog Willow), were welcoming and friendly and great at making suggestions of places to visit and places to eat. There is a great pub nearby and an excellent restaurant a little further away - for Londoners a meal to match anything in the city for half the price. George and Linda could not have been more helpful, phoning a local GP and arranged...
