"The chalet has everything you need. And is comfortable too. I admire the way everything fits in this small house with the feeling you have room for everything. You notice this especially when it is raining for most of the days during our stay. The owners give you a welcoming feeling, already before arriving and that is also nice. Within half an hour you can be in lots of interesting, impressive places. The chalet is very central in a quiet place. We simply enjoyed it!"

"We had a wonderful time. Cwmllan feels back in time in the best way. Some reviewers seemed critical of the water pressure from the spring-fed water system but this didn't bother us much at all. It's a place to go slower, not to be rushing around! Lovely neighbours and beautiful surroundings. Wonderful choice of walks and a good old-school DVD collection for cosy rainy nights in. Highly recommended. "

"The mornings were absolutely beautiful to see from the large front windows. Wild & domestic life (rabbits, so many birds, alpacas, horses, a pony, & a positively awesome dog) were very welcome, & all served to make the experience perfect. The host-provided a book of annotated walking trail printouts which fueled our days. Evenings were cozy in the upstairs with the provided furniture, blankets, & pillows. The bed was comfortable, the shower was good, the welcome was very nice & the afforded...

Lovely cosy home from home.

"We really enjoyed our stay. The cottage had plenty of room for 4 plus a dog. it felt very homely and had everything we needed for our weekend stay, including a well equipped kitchen. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. The cottage is well maintained and everything was spotlessly clean. Thank you ….. We’ll be back next year! "
