The Swan at Hay Hotel
5/5 Excellent
"This is a beautiful inn inside and out with great inside and outside dining facilities as well. If you only think to visit Hay-On-Wye dyring the book festival you are missing out on all the other wonderful attributes of the region. The walking is fabulous, ancient wooded footpath along the River, Mouse Castle Woods, Hay Castle, the outdoor market huge ancient Yew trees at Cusop's St. Mary's church. If, like me, your purpose is to explore on foot, tuck some slippers in your backpack so as not to dirty the carpets. Slippers are not provided :)"
