"Recently stayed here for two nights on our honeymoon trip to Kenya. After a week on safari the amenities were much appreciated, and from our experience, this hotel is one of the most luxurious in the country. WiFi in common areas was fine, room views of watering hole were amazing. Staff was extremely friendly. Lots of animals everyday at the watering hole, there are many openings to the outdoors so plan on bringing warm clothes even when hanging out inside. The beds could afford to be a bit more...

"I booked one night, 1 double room, 1 single room and paid through Expedia for Lake Naivasha Resort. When I arrived they said I had booked 2 single rooms and no meals so they charged me for what they said was the difference. When I saw the receipt I questioned it and said I need a refund! I had booked correctly and I had my paid receipt from Expedia. In the end I would have only owed for our meals. The difference between what they charged me and the cost of the meals should be refunded to me!...

"Don't book this hotel, it's a scam! When we arrived at the property, they did not accept our confirmed and pre-paid (!) booking because they said they don't collaborate with hotels.com. We had to leave as the hotel was fully booked. We never got a refund, neither by the hotel nor by hotels.com. Also, when we asked for a written confirmation that there is no collaboration with hotels.com, the hotel manager refused and started being really unfriendly."

"Nice hotel. We only stayed one night so I can't judge local game and wildlife activities. Our room was really good and we had a very nice meal by an open fire in the restaurant. Very cosy. Staff were very good, friendly and helpful. Nice gardens. One thing to note is that the power is provided by a generator so it's not always on. Probably not a problem if you're out all day.
