"WE LOVED THIS GETAWAY! We didn't want to leave. Host was awesome. He came out personally and assisted with our internet connection and told us more about the area. Perfect way to enjoy the San Bernard River and it’s an easy drive to several beach areas during the day. Can’t say enough good stuff about the house itself. "

"Stay was great! Staff was quick and friendly at check-in. Although we were very late in the evening, concierge made sure we got the red carpet roll out. This is a nice change from traditional hotels. Note- no pets allowed. Late check-in fee $40. Deposit $75. They allowed a late checkout since we were in at midnight. After checking you get back in your vehicle and drive around a little swirly swirl to get to your room, you might want to ask for directions as it was not very easy to follow the...

"The pictures really don't show how spacious the house is and how close the house is to the water. Wish we could have stayed longer. Really enjoyed watching the sunrise and fishing right in front of the house. Our dogs liked laying on the porch people watching. We have already booked our next stay and can't wait to be back there. "We had a blast, just went for the weekend. Place was very clean, plenty of kitchen and bath accessories included. Lots of towels, pillows for the couch, big bonus is being able to use the Weber BBQ.My son and I had a blast, lots of fishing and catching, don't forget to bring crab traps, caught a couple with the rod and reel as a bycatch.Definitely recommend, very clean unit."
