"Good for what we needed. Tea and coffee facilities were great. Iron and Hairdryer included in the room was a good touch, first time I've ever needed to use them and they worked. The pool was ok, slightly too busy, but we did use it at peak time (evening). Great stay."

"After a long trip, the receptionist was very helpful and handed over some Welsh Cakes as a gift. We booked a meal at the restaurant for that evening without any hassle. The breakfast was lovely and plentiful. Will stay there again."

"Lovely friendly welcoming staff. Clean room. Great having a fridge in the room. I didn't like the lack of security to the rooms. Stairs by the front doors to the front and side of the reception area. There was no lock on the access door to the rooms therefore anyone could access the corridors to the rooms"

"Hotel matched our expectations Dinner was a little slow Friday as they’d taken more covers than planned but staff very pleasant. Two great breakfasts. Help in getting taxi on a match day to station. Would recommend "

"This is quite an old establishment, probably a former coaching inn. As such, it is a little old-fashioned, in need of some modernisation, but I feel that this is reflected in the price, which was very good value and included a very nice breakfast."

"I stayed here for two nights (Saturday and Sunday) while visiting Bike Park Wales, and I was really impressed with the value for money. Booking just a week in advance, I only paid £55 for a two-person room with breakfast included—an absolute bargain! The room was clean and comfortable, though I did struggle a bit with temperature control. "You've got all what you need if your planning to visit Raglan Castle as we did. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and it was nice and comfortable. Easy check in. Give your car's license plate so you won't pay for parking. Highly recommended. A+++"

"Had a lovely Mothers day meal but unfortunately we were placed by the side entrance and people were constantly opening the door . It was absolutely freezing in there , poor Mother is 90 and it was way too cold for her . The roast meal however was faultless lovely and tasty and piping hot . Hotel Room could do with updating but it was very spacious and exceptionally clean . "
