Lovely cottage, but not very clean, kitchen utensils poor, and outside back door the block paving was very slippy, but overall good value for money Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Location is fantastic, town is lovely.
Location is fantastic, town is lovely. Plenty of space for 3 generations of family, sofas in kitchen lounge very comfortable. Lovely large fridge freezer, plenty of knives, forks, spoons, cups and plates. Things to just improve - kitchen utensils (no spatula, fish slice, bottle openers, tin openers (that worked) no baking trays to fit the oven). There was also a leak from the en suite bathroom which we reported but clearly had been there quite some time. Some found the beds a bit uncomfortable. However overall we really enjoyed our holiday.

Excellent and lovely house and separate annexe, very versatile and flexible for mixed groups and great for hostessing. Lovely outlook and Aberaeron was just as we remembered it. Needed some urgent tlc outside which I have reported and a couple of things inside. Having been used to renting small properties for 2 where they cover everything you might possibly want to know, was very surprised to find a lack of information other than instruction manuals i.e. no emergency nos. (there was one but I think he was more of a caretaker) , access to footpaths from the property (the river is at the bottom of the field to the rear and the footpath leads from the side gate and then to the edge of the field and over a footbridge with a wide former railway footpath leading to a very interesting NT property. Footpaths also lead back to the harbour in Aberaeron but any details were just on publicity leaflets and not special information for the property itself. Yes we would go back and it suited us having the long weekend booking Friday to Friday. However as we travelled a long way cross country it was very tiring.

Loved the space and separate property.
Loved the space and separate property. Enjoyed the living area and lovely countryside view. There was a bit of a cleanliness issue & we certainly left it cleaner than we found it! The walk from the back of the property was lovely - although through a very dilapidated gate with exposed rusted screws protruding.
