"This property is just lovely and in a great spot! It was a quick and easy drive from DC, was private and quiet, and had beautiful waterfront views and access. The house has great character and it is clear the the owners refurbished and decorated it with great love and attention to detail which just enhances the feeling that you are really on a getaway from the doldrums of everyday life. "We had a great stay, home was just as advertised. Very clean, kitchen was well stocked, nice outside area with great views. Neighborhood was very quiet and safe. We were visited every morning and evening by a mallard couple. One evening we were visited by a couple of swans.
