"I didn’t get the check in info via Hotels.com and their address was wrong. But a simple phone call and an exceptionally helpful and friendly chap sorted everything within two minutes. The cottage was wonderful. So warm and inviting. Comfy and beyond clean. I’m definitely coming here again. "

"Wonderful hosts, beautiful area, linens and cooking utensils provided, as well as a few tea bags and coffee sachets for a cuppa and a sit down when you arrive! easy self check in with amenable hosts. 10/15 min walk to the local high street, and ample parking space. a great self catering stay - does the job, i would happily recommend and stay again. thank you!"

"We had absolutely no heating. I tried several times to contact the owner by email, messenger and by phoning her. No reply. I had been in contact with her regarding check in via email and messenger, I even sent a photo of the temperature in the house. 10 degrees. I had to source 2 radiators myself, which a kind neighbour lent us. I would like a refund for our inconvenience "

"Family and friend gathering. 9 adults over 50 years old. We enjoyed being on the Themes and spent our time outside. The house is not meant for that many adults even though it has 5 bedrooms. Many of the beds were too short and one room is clearly a children’s room. The place needs some TLC on furniture, rugs, beds (sag in middle) and outdoor cleanliness…lots of spider webs. But that also adds to the charm. Things to note. One room has up and down steps to bathroom and a very narrow opening. We...

"Stayed with our family and greatly enjoyed the property which is clean, bright and spacious with all necessary amenities. Excellent west London location, being only a two minute walk from the tube, making a great launching point for exploring the London sights and attractions. Plenty of street parking but relatively pricey - recommend that you arrange a visitor permit with the host if staying for more than a few days. "This was a great location - very close to frequent rail connecting to tube - fairly close to two tube stations. The neighbourhood was very pretty and the closest 'high street' had a wonderful Turkish vibe - great baklava! There were also other great high streets within walking distance, each unique. "A cosy cottage in quiet location. Perfect for visiting Whipsnade zoo and Harry Potter studios. Had everything we needed for a short stay. Only negative was the parking as it was difficult to find a space on the very narrow lanes."

"I am not sure where to begin, but our stay at the Victorian Lodge in Windsor was absolutely amazing. Hamish was a wonderful host, and we could've stayed forever. There is something special about being in the English countryside, and our stay at the Lodge almost felt like we were inside of a storybook. If you want to be close to London/Windsor, but away from the crowds and the noise, you will not regret staying here. We had no issues getting food delivered, or getting rides to/from the lodge....

"Peter and Kaye were GREAT hosts. The place was immaculate and exactly what was described online. More than enough room for me, my wife and 15 year old daughter. They even left a bottle of Chardonnay for our Friday night arrival and Peter brought over 2 great beers!! Their 2 dogs were VERY friendly and my daughter just loved them. "Really enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage. The property was full of character, very clean and in a quiet area but within easy walking distance to all the main attractions. Check in was very straightforward. Would highly recommend. "

"Stayed at Little Trees because we were visiting elderly parents who live nearby. Nice peaceful location. The place was spotless. Everything was provided - towels, shampoo, shower gel, bread, butter, milk etc. couldn’t have asked for more. Would definitely stay again. Bed a little low and soft for me but actually slept really well. "
