"The room was comfortable and convenient to the train. Unfortunately for us it had been heavily cleaned with bleach which made the smell really awful in the bathroom and also in the bedroom. Many people are very sensitive to cleaning products and learning to use natural products would be good. We spent the first four hours mopping the floors trying to remove the smell. "I travel regularly in Italy for business. On this occasion due to a late meeting I missed the last train home and was forced to stay the night. I was treated as a massive inconvenience for the staff. In particular the late night porter who was shockingly lecturing, patronising and sarcastic. I’ve enjoyed many stays in Italian hotels and without exception the staff have been excellent. This was exceptionally awful, I shall not be returning. "
