"Amazing! Service was excellent in all interactions. Diego handled our check in with ease and delivered our bags to our room. He provided a hot towel and refreshing hibiscus ice tea, which were welcome after a day of traveling. Food and drinks at the microbrewery and in the restaurant were excellent. Presentation was always 5 stars. Our room was spacious and private as described, with a large wrap around balcony. The balcony soaking tub was spectacular and, as this area is covered, we were able to enjoy even when it rained. Room service and housekeeping were excellent. We booked a couples hot stone massage and left that fully relaxed. Thank you to Gloria and Maggi. We were within easy driving distance to town and local attractions. Parking was secure. We would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again if visiting Monteverde. "

"We loved staying here. We had 2 rooms & both were very clean with super soft sheets. Though we were in the city, the hotel's use of plants all around made it an oasis. The Happy Hour was wonderful & the included breakfast was loved by my kids. Strongly recommend this hotel. "

Went out of the way to ensure comfort and feeling welcomes. Toasty wood fire at night on the open deck for all to enjoy while taking on the cloud forest views. "

"It was amazing!!! The accommodations were wonderful. The service was excellent. The property is about a five min walk from the entrance to Monteverdi forest. The hotel staff are wonderful and extremely helpful in planning outings and tours. The food at the restaurant is fresh and delicious. I cannot say anything bad about our experience at the Trapp hotel. "

"Casa Madonna offered a convenient location close to our activities in Monteverde. We did the Santa Elena Reserve and Salvatura Adventure Park. Both were amazing and Casa Madonna worked out well. The breakfast was good. Service was friendly and helpful. The room was minimal but the beds were comfortable. It was damp /humid in a basement room, but clean. They did not supply soap in the room, so be sure to bring your own for handwashing. "
