I was disappointed in the end where I felt like we were rushed for check out, as upon arriving in our room found that the room had already been stripped by the housekeeper and our bags were still in the room. "The Thatch House is a stunning property, which has a fantastic standard of decor, and ambiance. The staff are well drilled, knowledgeable and friendly. The pool is a haven in the hot weather, plus the lagoon is available for kyaks and paddle boards"

"We were 3 weeks ol the Garden Route and this was definitely the best stay. Really lovely and caring hosts, great rooms with amazing sea views, a suberb breakfast and also their dinner tip was really great (and you can even walk there safely at night!) Will definitely come back during whale season (when they whales are supposed to be directly in front of your room!)"

"It was a very restful stop and easy access to the southern tip of Africa!! It was a bit tight for four of us and bathroom was not very private. But for a small accommodation it was very adequate!! We enjoyed our stay and appreciated Nadine’s helpfulness and tourist advice!! "
