This is not the first time I have encountered this deceptive practice. When I do, no one will take responsibility -- just finger pointing, then everyone shrugs as if to say "It's the customer's fault. The shouldn't have trusted us." Guess what, you're right. Why am I trusting a booking site that lies to me? "

"What an amazing hotel ! It's split into two halves, with the dining (and much more - chapel, art gallery, lovely rooms, including a games room!) in a separate building across the courtyard. If it's raining, there is a tunnel connecting the two! The breakfast was very good - the evening meal (we had half-board) was reasonably good, not outstanding. At least bed and bath linens were clean and in reasonable condition. We had no other options but to stay here given that so much of the town was sold out. Accommodations and conditions very basic."
