"Hotel itself was great. Room was clean. Location cant be beat. Staff were very friendly. The only reason i rated it less than perfect had NOTHING to do with the hotel. Cannot stress enough—-the hotel was terrific! Heads up to travelers. The town of Portosin is nearly dead in the off season. The town (and many others in the area such as Porto Do Son) need to figure year-round activities to encourage ongoing tourism. "The place is simply amazing. I loved it and my family loved it as well. The beach is just right there, never crowded, with rocky formations where you can spot crabs, anemones, fish, lots of different mollusks, and starfish (if you pay attention and are lucky; yes, I am a biologist :-); the kids loved it. We arrived 14.08 just on time for the town's fest and had "bad luck" because the near town of Cee was also having its annual festivity and supermarkets were closed. So we had to "sacrifice"...
