"My family stayed for two nights and everything was wonderful. Communication was excellent and the check-in instructions were thorough and easy to understand. The place was very clean and the bathroom was very nice. Good water pressure which seems like a small thing, but I have terrible water pressure at home so a really good shower while on vacation is a bonus! The beds were very comfortable, and despite the fact that I have sleep issues and usually wake up often, I slept surprisingly well....

"Needed a long weekend with spouse. The setting was peaceful and romantic. Gas fireplace, beautifully remodeled unit, very comfortable. We spent several hours enjoying the view out back in front of the fire pit. The fall colors were lovely. It was centrally located. We visited Sleeping Bear Dunes and Charlevoix. "

"Wonderful stay with long time college friends. House was well equipped and we enjoyed as much of it as we could in our 3 days. Saw beautiful sunrises, enjoyed the fire pit and sitting on the dock. Would highly recommended!!"

Perfect family getaway next to Torch Lake

"We were absolutely thrilled when we arrived at this home for our weekend vacation! We couldn’t believe how much space there was for our family of 4 (plus 2 friends and a dog) to spread out! The pictures are great but it was even more perfect than we had imagined! So much room to play yard games and have a fire without feeling like we were surrounded by people. The woods in the back gave a perfect place to walk our dog around and also made it feel like we were on our own private property. We enjoyed dinners at home and even played cards at the large dining table and watched a movie on TV on the expansive couch! A short drive down the road had us grocery shopping in Central Lake, eating in Alden, and renting a pontoon in Rapid City to enjoy a full day on Torch Lake! My only disappointment was that we didn’t rent the property for an entire week! We are looking forward to renting again next year! What a perfect way to close out our summer vacation! "
