"Tiago kindly provided everything we needed for our stay and was on hand to help when asked. The house is large, really lovely and well equipped. The small town of Caminha is nice to visit and there was plenty nearby to keep us occupied, including some beautiful beaches."

"We had a great stay at the Pool House. Easy to find with Google Maps, our arrival was painless. Carlos, and his father, were welcoming and helpful. The house is comfortable and had all we needed. The pool was great. Ten minute walk into the local village: supermarket, pharmacy, bars. Twenty minute walk to the Atlantic Ocean. Great place from which to explore northern Portugal. We enjoyed our time there. Easily recommended."

"Très belle maison et spacieuse pour 12 personnes. Piscine très agréable, extérieur et et espaces jeux très favorables pour passer de bons moments de détente. Nous avons pu profiter enfants comme adultes de tous ces espaces avec plaisir. Emplacement idéal pour visiter les principales villes du Nord : Viana do Castelo, Porto, Braga, Guimarães et o Gérês. Hôte très à l’écoute et réactif si besoin. "

"This location is extremely beautiful and the hosts are friendly and very responsive. It's in walking distance to a small beach but you will need a car to go to a supermarket. The house is very clean and comfortable (we stayed there with 10 people). There are dogs and cats, which was a plus for us (our kids loved playing with them) but may be an issue for someone with allergies. We'd come back here any time. Great place and has our highest recommendation."

The house is fantastic, the area was beautiful, super quiet yet easy to get to all the local attractions. Truth is we just wanted somewhere to relax and it was ideal. "My wife, our two young boys and I, had the most fabulous stay at Casa Sao Joao. We rented the left wing apartment of the house, overlooking the pool. Our rooms were spacious and comfortable, with ice cold a/c for the hot days, of which there were many! The manor house is set in the most sumptuous grounds, with lovely shady vine tunnels surrounding the pool, leading to deeper depths of the garden and many flowers in bloom. The pool was a delight. "We had a wonderful stay in this gorgeous property. Location is stunning - right by the lighthouse, short walk down to the beach. You can walk into the local village as well where we found a great bakery and amazing value restaurant Sergio. Comms with the owner were great and with the lovely housekeeper Paula who can come in and clean during your stay. Could do with a larger outdoor dining table but that is the only improvement I can think of. The house is very well equipped. Thank you!"
