"Staying away for work for 1-night. Room comfortable, ensuite was small. Went to use the pool but it was very small and very busy, so didn't bother. I was in room 311, which was at the start of the corridor, so later in evening there was an amount of noise outside room with others returning to their rooms. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Got parked in car park close to main entrance. Walked to a nearby pub for dinner. All in all a pleasant stay"

"A wonderful stay at the holiday inn on nye. We was attending the nye party at the hotel so gave us everything we need. The only disappointment we had was we didnt know in advance that the pool would shut early and open late the next day so we wouldnt get to use it very much. But this all worked as the lovely girls on the desk booked me late check out so we were able to make the most of it after we had a complimentary breakfast that was added on to. "Unfortunately our door key wouldn't work and neither did the replacement after walking al the way back to reception for it we got moved then had to wait for replacement keys for that room wasn't a very good start. "

"Check in was quite quick and the lady was polite and welcoming. The massage was also good as I came out feeling relaxed. The restaurant staff we felt needs improvement; we’ve advised one of the staff that we have moved table and was waiting for our hot drinks but never came so my friend had to asked and brought our pots of coffee to our table herself! "Basic but spotlessly clean. Good for a short stay where all I needed was bed and breakfast. My only complaint was that I was not warned that parking was restricted (on Saturdays as well as weekdays) and I got a ticket. Not really their fault, but maybe something to note."

"Lovely clean room and it was huge! Had everything we needed for.our stay. Building felt safe and was in a really convenient spot on the high street. Even though it was a saturday night, the noise was not an issue. Only criticism is that the room was really really warm! It was snowing outside but the room was still too warm, id be a little worried about staying in the warmer weather as ive noticed from other reviews that this is a problem all year round."
