"We had a great stay at MACq 01 hotel. The room was very spacious with amazing views over the bay. Check in and out experience was good and the breakfast and dinner served in the restaurants was delicious. Would definitely stay here again when I'm in Hobart"

"Beautiful, quirky hotel in a prime location. Rooms are spacious. If I was to be picky I’d say the air con was loud but could live with it. Still got mini products in the bathroom, would have liked to see the large, refillable ones. No complimentary drinking water and unable to fill ours as the bathroom tap doesn’t move. Would like a fountain that can be accessed to fill bottles. Excellent service, staff could not do enough for us. Would highly recommend. "

"Excellent and frequent communication pre-stay. Warmly greeted upon arrival, shown around the facility before being led to glorious Garden Courtyard room on lower floor. Very spacious room with either side of the bed having direct access to bathroom facilities, robes, ironing facilities and tea making facilities behind the bed head panel. "I don’t like to leave bad reviews, but I hope this saves someone from the headache and inconvenience we experienced. The actual condition of the property is far from what is pictured. It is dilapidated, dirty, and unfit for rental. There were dead bugs all over inside and a live scorpion, stains in the carpet, and the pantry had dirty empty containers. The outdoor grounds were covered in animal feces, with an empty pool, defunct hot tub, and rubbish about the property. We found alternative...
