I reported that the reading light and receptacle beside the bed did not function, ( was not repaired after three nights) nor did the refrigerator work, nor did the Mercedes Benz passenger van meant to provide local transportation, (we walked to/and from the train station) advertised in their online QR CODE description. "The hotel was fine, but they don’t have an elevator, the worst thing was the A\C in the room it was not doing it job we visited at July and we couldn’t open the windows because of the bugs, we had to park our car outside the hotel parking but it was a safe calm street so it wasn’t a big deal "

"Fantastic hotel set in an 800 year old castle. Stunning building, rooms beautifully furnished with all amenities, delightful castle grounds, magnificent setting for the restaurant with quality food. Breakfast excellent too. Difficulty with room keys on arrival and had to return to reception for replacements. On entering room discovered that room was not as originally booked on hotels.com website. After again returning to reception and lengthy dialogue with staff that our room was incorrect...

"Mooi hotel in een mooie omgeving. Kamer was ruim met de kleinste TV ooit in een hotel opgehangen. Badkamer met ligbad en een bidet. Diner was prima, smaakvol en niet te duur. Parkeren voor de deur. Inchecken is wel een trap op, daarna is er een lift. Kan dus lastig zijn als je slecht ter been bent. Ontbijt was goed. Wel weer een trap af. Vriendelijk personeel, de meesten spraken goed Engels."

"Pros: The property is close to the centre of Màtrafüred, where the restaurants are, and it is also close to the hiking trails. It has a pool (though it is a bit dated) a kitchen and dining area for guests to use, as well as a sauna and a nice back garden in the woods. Staff were extremely helpful and accommodating and the room was clean. Cons: The property is right next to the main road, so if you have a room that faces that side, it is very noisy.
