"We combined pool/beach and sightseeing vacation for a family including a 5 y.o. and that worked well for us. The pools and slides and entertainment were perfect for him. Can walk to the beach while stopping at numerous souvenir shops or restaurants on the way. The buffet food was Ok but since we did not plan to be there all the day long, we did not do all inclusive. "We accidentally arrived before checkin opened as we were on the way to a wedding but they were so incredibly accommodating. Made us feel so welcome, offered us a drink and some snacks all free of charge. The guy behind the desk even gave us a lift to the wedding and didn’t expect anything in return. "This is a wonderful hotel, the location is fantastic! It’s really close to the beach which is beautiful. It has a lot and I mean a lot of eating options. Also it has many markets for anything you need. The hotel itself is great! The breakfast and dinner buffet are also good. The grounds were super clean and the staff was super friendly and helped with anything needed. The room was perfect and very clean. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I would come back as well. "

"Hotel was pleasant enough though it most certainly isn't a four star. A little tired in places, it could definitely do with a lick of paint, during closed season. Staff, whilst not unfriendly, were certainly not welcoming, either. My wife described them as "businesslike". That'll do. "

"My wife and I have stayed at the Golf Beach many times over the past 20 years. It now has new owners but they have kept all of the wonderful staff that makes your stay welcoming and pleasant. Some new decoration within the bar area and a new menu. The bar area at night is quite quiet this maybe the increase in drinks prices and not so many British guests as before. Still if you are looking for a pleasant stay in Santa Ponsa for a reasonable price look no further "
