"This is a delicious and well-run property with a long history. Everything was perfect..almost. Our suite was very comfortable, but it was VERY dark inside. It was long and the only natural light is from the door (glass). That was our main criticism. The only other little quibble is there was absolutely nowhere to hang our sumptuous robes, and so the cleaning crew (and it WAS a crew) took to hanging them on the shower door or folded (wet) by the tub."

"Incredibly beautiful place in an unexpected discovery that we were staying in an ancient fortress of an ancient city. Could not ask for more in such conditions, where everything was ancient in the city but everything in the hotel was modern. Small room, but incredibly quaint, and the bathroom was glorious, shower was incredible, water pressure and temperature perfect.
